Hi grabby and TY for the donation

The engine coolant temperature sensor is on rear of engine on coolant outlet see no.3

The engine coolant tempearture sensor has 2-wires a blue and red and the other is brown and yellow.

1. blue and red is the ECT sensor

2. brown and yellow is the low reference

Hi there is another tempature sensor, the one you guys are showing me is for the engine cooling tempature sensor.

What I need is the wiring harness for the coolant tempature sensor (that coolant temp sensor is located in the radiator on the right side) ((this is how it is)) (basicly I still have the coolant temp sensor in the radiator but the wires and the connector was torn out, well it disapeerd and I do not want my engine to over heat since the fans dont turn on.

Please get back to me, thanks

The only switch left I could located is the engine coolant level switch. I know what you're trying to say I assume its the engine temperature gauge switch that signals the computer to fire up the cooling fan thru a relay on a given temperature.

(basicly I still have the coolant temp sensor in the radiator but the wires and the connector was torn out,

I want you to identify the wire colors on the cooling fan motor and we'll tap in somewhere temporary to fire up the cooling till you find that wire

Also is this an XE or XR model astra?

Get a jumper wire long enough to reach from the fan motor connector to the underhood fuse block.

Connect one end to the red and yellow wire at the fan motor and the other end to the underhood fuse block relay K1 terminal 87 clip it together with the relay-see below Did the fan come on? key at run position

Hi it worked the fan turned on but there are two fans on the astra one behind the radiator (on the left)and one in front on the ac condenser (on the right) do I have to do that to the one in front of the ac condenser to, I turned on the one behind the radiator using k2?Or is that fan just for the ac?Also I am a bit worried having the fan allways on on, there is no tempeture gauge, its just a light that turns on when the engine is over heating but if the sensor is unpluged can the engine still overheat? Also is there any way to make that sensor work again beacuse I just cant find it ive looked everywhere? Thanks a bunch
