When I come to a stop or rolling my brakes screw up, almost feels like the abs goes in and out, dry roads and all does this about 4 out of ten times. There should be a recall for this but there is not.I dont have alot of money havent worked since june. So can I diconect my abs fuse or will my brakes just not work at all and hit some one. Please tell me what I can do and what can happen

Hi,

Yes, you can remove the ABS fuse. The brakes will then function as non-abs brakes. However, you may want to check the wheel speed sensors to locate the one that is causing the issue.

If you take a look through this link, it explains how to test a wheel speed sensor. Take a look.

If you find one that is bad, here is a link that shows in general how to replace it:

If you decide to replace one or more, the attachments below include the directions and pics specific to your vehicle for replacement. The first two pics are for a rear sensor. Pics 3 and 4 are for a front sensor.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
