Serpentine belt replacement I bought a tool to help in moving the tension pulley?

I bought a tool to help in moving the tension pulley but dont know how to use it it doesnt seem to move the pully at all no matter how much force I put on it due to other components seem to be in the way. Can you send a diagram on the propper way to do this? Thank you kent

Look's like you need a 1-1/4" open end wrench that belt bar won't work.Follow the instruction's i posted.

Note: Since the engine size/type was not selected I have provided instructions for the most common engine type 3.0L OHV. If it is a different engine, please let me know.
