My 2000 Chevy Tracker has a problem with the driver power window. It goes down without a problem, but stops half way up. I noticed that when it stops the window is not setting squarely in the window frame. It is tilted toward the front of the car. If I take hold of the window and straighten it up, it rolls right up. Is that a regulator problem or is it something else?

I would suspect the regulator also. BInding in the slides and tripping the motor.

Most likely you will need to remove the door panel and inspect it.
It may be fixable (replace a rivet for example), get a new one or used from junk yard.
