Last week on the highway it started losing power and I started losing speed I pulled over the car shut off. Towed it home. Replace the fuel pump and now cranks and will not turn over. Had the battery checked the starter checked and the alternator is good. The guy at the automotive store told us to spray some starting fluid in it and we tried that and it still would not work. He said if it starts with the starting fluid it is a spark issue it is not, it is an ignition issue. Can you please help me and tell me what to do? Thank you

Probably a failed ignition or distributor module, it is part of the distributor. I would consider sourcing a known good second hand distributor or get your car tested on an oscilloscope to check ignition wave form for a failed distributor.
