Hello! My car is currently giving me a hard time. It started off awhile back having a catalytic converter code, we replaced that and everything went away. More recently a new common 02 sensor code came up for the bank 1 sensor, believe it was p0420. We didn't do anything about it right away because it was running fine. I discovered it was running sluggish and using more gas than usual. On a longer drive, after about 1 and a half hours when I came to a stop, the car shook and cut off. I restarted it and it went the rest of the way fine. On the way back from the same place it did the same thing. So I decided to try to fix the code. I bought an o2 sensor from eBay and replaced it. It was okay but after driving a couple miles the engine light came back. It had two new codes, having to do with the 02 sensor not being the correct temperature and the system being below thresholds. So I assumed the o2 sensor was a no go. We put the old one back, and it didn't throw any codes right away. But after a few days we then got about four new codes, P0133, P1148, P0420, p0130. So now I'm not sure if it's just since we disrupted the sensor or is just not the sensor at all. It drives okay for 40 minute drives, but now it's getting chuggy. It has also started cutting off after started and backing up. I'm lost on what to try, any advice is appreciated!

Good morning,

First of all, the sensor needs to be a quality sensor. EBay sensors are cheap sensors and do not meet OEM specs.

The 420 is a catalytic converter issue. The cat converter needs to be replaced.

The 133 is for the sensor. I would start by replacing it with a quality sensor.

1148 is also indicating sensor issues.

130 is also a sensor code.

I would suggest replacing that sensor. The catalytic converter also needs to be replaced as well.
