2014 Toyota Highlander Corrosion Prevention

When I purchased this vehicle, the dealer told me I did not need to get it undercoated even though I live in Ohio where roads are heavily salted during winter. He said the metals used in todays cars are resistant to corrosion. Is he correct, or should I still consider getting my vehicle undercoated since I plan to keep it indefinitely?

IF YOUR CAR IS STAINLESS STEEL OR FIBERGLASS WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT IT!

LOOK AROUND YOU, EVEN DOWN HERE IN S.C, STEEL WILL RUST!

I'D PLAY IT SAFE THEN SORRY - IF I LIVED UP THERE, MY RIGS WOULD GET A DOUBLE COAT, WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO ALL OF THE FRAMEWORK

Get the under body seal, Toyota uses a factory coating, but for added protection get it treated.
